Mom
Well, today was my Mother’s birthday. I didn’t get to spend it with her because of the geographical distance between us. Sometimes it is hard being away from family, especially on days like this. Anyway I did get to spend a few minutes on the phone talking to her so that is good.
Love you Mom!!

What does it mean to put God first?
Well, that is my goal. Here are my objectives to obtain that goal.
Developing my personal relationship with Jesus
1. Read 3 chapters from the bible before work
2. Pray for 15 min before work
3. Spiritual Formation Class — Starts this Sunday
4. Essentials 1 class — Starts next Wednesday
Developing my personal relationships with the people around me
1. Church — Weekly corporate worship and sermon
2. To Have and to Hold — 6 Part series from Chip Ingram that I am studying with my fiance.
3. Small group — Weekly deep connection with other men my age
Busy time
I think when I get really busy it is actually God tugging on my heart for attention because when I get busy I always put him last when he should actually be first.
It is a vicious cycle… If I put God first things seem to fall into place. When a couple things start to go wrong “I” try to fix them and then things just keep piling on and it seems like I will never be able to keep up.
Note to self:
HEY KNUCKLEHEAD, PUT GOD FIRST…
No commentsLinux Time
As of late I have been wanting something new in tech. Linux isn’t new, but it is to me. I have also been on a big time open source kick too…
Here are the flavors I am going to try:
while the next one isn’t Linux, it is Unix based so it is close enough.
As soon as I get my new HD in for my laptop I will start testing each flavor out and then I will choose one. My goal is to use Linux and only Linux for 6 months.
